Three-dimensional harmonic oscillator and time evolution in quantum mechanics

چکیده
The problem of defining time (or phase) operator for three-dimensional harmonic oscillator has been analyzed. A new formula for this operator has been derived. The results have been used to demonstrate a possibility of representing quantum-mechanical time evolution in the framework of an extended Hilbert space structure. Physical interpretation of the extended structure has been discussed shortly, too. PACS: 03.65.Ta; 03.65.Ca

Super algebra and Harmonic Oscillator in Anti de Sitter space
The harmonic oscillator in anti de Sitter space(AdS) is discussed. We consider the harmonic oscillator potential and then time independent Schrodinger equation in AdS space. Then we apply the supersymmetric Quantum Mechanics approach to solve our differential equation. In this paper we have solved Schrodinger equation for harmonic oscillator in AdS spacetime by supersymmetry approach. The shape...
متن کاملLissajous curves and semiclassical theory: The two-dimensional harmonic oscillator
The semiclassical treatment of the two-dimensional harmonic oscillator provides an instructive example of the relation between classical motion and the quantum mechanical energy spectrum. We extend previous work on the anisotropic oscillator with incommensurate frequencies and the isotropic oscillator to the case with commensurate frequencies for which the Lissajous curves appear as classical p...
متن کاملRelativistic Ladder Operators for the Three-Dimensional Harmonic Oscillator
The quantum constraint equations for a relativistic three-dimensional harmonic oscillator are shown to find concise expression in terms of Lorentz covariant ladder operators. These ladder operators consist of two conjugate 4-vectors that are each constrained to generate three linearly independent combinations of ladder operator components for raising and lowering the eigenstates of the oscillat...
متن کاملClassical versus quantum dynamics for a driven relativistic oscillator
We compare the time evolution of the quantum-mechanical spatial probability density obtained by solving the time-dependent Dirac equation with its classical counterpart obtained from the relativistic Liouville equation for the phase-space density in a regime in which the dynamics is essentially relativistic. For a resonantly driven one-dimensional harmonic oscillator, the simplest nontrivial mo...
متن کاملCoherent States of Harmonic and Reversed Harmonic Oscillator
Abstract: A one-dimensional wave function is assumed whose logarithm is a quadratic form in the configuration variable with time-dependent coefficients. This trial function allows for general time-dependent solutions both of the harmonic oscillator (HO) and the reversed harmonic oscillator (RO). For the HO, apart from the standard coherent states, a further class of solutions is derived with a ...
